Beggars Pizza in Bourbonnais

I want to start by saying thank you to Chris,, she was awesome, I appreciate her reaching out to me and accommodating my mom's party on short notice. They gave us an entire room,, it was a lil warm in the room but we understood the circumstances. Our server Tammy was amazing, she was there on time with everything,, all the way down to separating the bills.. also the ONLY pizza place in town with turkey sausage for a pizza topping, which is a big deal for me because I don't eat pork. All around win win, definitely suggest u try it out?!

I wasn't impressed for the second time at this location you should pay better attention to your customer..I work in customer service so I no from experience

I have to say... The pizza was fantastic! The atmosphere was really cool and the waitress was amazing! Polite, helpful, and very appreciative. We had a table for 10 and she did a great job! She even tried to give back some if the tip. We told her she did a fantastic job and it was well deserved. She was very grateful and gave us all hugs. HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS! I have always passed by this place not thinking too much about it. I always had friends saying you should try this place. So finally a few weeks ago I said I would go (I hate trying new places). I have a severe gluten allergy and it literally makes me worry my self sick to try new food. Boy was I missing out. This by far is the BEST gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. We have been there 3 times in a month (which is a lot for us to eat out). It is my new go to for pizza. It is about $17.00 for a 2 topping 10in thick crust pizza, but it is well worth it when other places have 8in thin crust pizzas for $13.00. I can't believe I have been missing out for so long.

I can't get enough of this place. Always friendly and always very good. Love the deep dish.

Very friendly people pizza fresh is the best I personally think in town!! If you like like real Chicago Pizza and from out of town try their deep dish yeah they are a bit slow on delivery of food which is a huge part of being hungry wanting your food and wanting it fast I can see an hour on a deep dish pizza but just regular pan pizza should be at your door within 35 minutes to 40 tops and I'm a mile away and they say an hour and a half. That is unacceptable to me hire drivers that move pizza 30 dollars I want it fresh and hot!! But the girls are good lookin js!!

excellent pizza wonderful service. Makes you feel like you're at home. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is that there were many stairs going in even though they had a ramp the ramp was too long and actually being Seated on the lower or the upper levels too many stairs especially if you're older. Their elevator is has not been working for several months. Why it is not repaired I don't know but it would make it a lot easier the older clientele that comes in.

Friendly staff, good food. The building is a old house that has been remodeled and modified to a cool style family pizza restraunt. They have some of the best stuffed pizza. And they put so much good cheese and ingrediants on or in the pizza. Hey have a great pizza lunch buffet and even on sundays they have a fantastic breakfast pizza buffet. They have a very friendly staff that is a great benefit to the establishment.

Usually, we love Beggars. Tonight? Not so much. ☹️

Beggers Pizza makes and Awesome Gluten Free pizza. I must be GF due to health issues and I have tried most of the pizzas here in Kankakee, many are good, Beggers has made it to the top of my list. I like my crust a bit on the crispy side (a little burn and I know the crust is done), because the GF dough can be soggy if it's not a bit overcooked, at least that is how I feel. Beggers does it perfect!!

In my top 3 pizza places. You really pile it on!

Best pizza Ever!

waited 20 minutes to be seated. No one ever came out. walked to the "take out area" and not a single soul to be found. walked into the dinning room and neither of the waitresses even acknowledged my family and I. We patiently went back to the "wait to be seated" sign and waited another 5 minutes and still not a single person walked up to seat us. i would understand if it was packed but there were plenty of open tables. we walked out after 25 minutes of waiting. The only reason they're getting 2 stars and not 1 is because I've had the pizza before and its good. Just unacceptable service.

Who puts their entrence in the back? Who does have some one waiting to seat customers? Who doesn't have someone at the register? Stood at the host station with my date for 5 min waiting to be seated. Never saw an employee. Register was unmanned the entire time. Sadly I doubt I'll ever go back.

Great pizza! The deep dish was amazing. Even better was their service! The lady who answered the phone was the friendliest, most efficient worker I've ever dealt with. Everyone was friendly, but she made me feel like a made a great choice to order there.

Curbside or delivery..love the pizza

It was great they fed my whole choir and let us give the extra food to a few homeless shelters which is great. And the servers are really nice and on to of that the food is great so ye.

Great pricing, staff is courteous and food is tasty. Would recommend for weekend and sports games.

Man, the food is really good every time I get it. But why, oh why does a pizza shop like this close at 9 PM on a Friday or Saturday night? There's been quite a few times when I wanted some Beggars, but they close so early I always miss the chance. That is my sole complaint.It's probably because of COVID, so I understand... but still.

Will not be disappointed.Crushed my beliefs that a medium pizza is easy to finish. I never had a deep dish (real) and was lead before into a false state of mind. This pizza is soooooo good I can't wait to come through here again. What you see is what you get. Thank you all there at Beggars for a good pizza!

By far the best pizza in town although they have changed their sausage recipe used to taste like almost it had beer in it but it's still good but I definitely being a pizza connoisseur can tell that they have change there sausage recipe it's still the best you can get in the area
